ECWC Coaches appear on Spike TV’s Deadliest Warrior

Los Angeles, CA–(PRESS RELEASE)— ECWC Strength Coaches - Scott Brengel and Casey Garrison will be appearing on Spike TV’s “The Deadliest Warrior” 2011 season finale on Wednesday, September 14th @ 10pm EST.

The show typically pits ancient warriors against each other and analyzes who would win in a hypothetical-simulated fight. i.e. Samurai vs Ninja or Spartan vs Gladiator, etc. The current show is a special edition, featuring the show’s first showdown with mythological creatures - Zombies vs Vampire.

In order to replicate how much damage that a zombie could do against a real human body, the show called on Pro Strongman - Scott Brengel and top amateur strongman - Casey Garrison. The producers wanted a strongman or what they called a “super-human” to simulate how much brute force a zombie would need to destroy human flesh and bones with their bare hands. The show will also feature some of the usual strongman implements including a (900 lb tire/ and 250/360 lb Atlas stones) to demonstrate this use of brute force.
