2009 Long Beach Jordan “BIG MAN” Football
Lineman Competition

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The 1st Annual Long Beach Jordan “BIG MAN” Football Lineman Competition will be staged at Jordan High School, located at 6500 Atlantic Ave. in North Long Beach, California.

• The field will be limited to the first 20 teams registered
• Teams will consist of 10 players with up to 2 alternates
• A school may enter as many teams of 10-12 men as they wish
• This contest is reserved for linemen only. Please, no skilled positions or linebackers

The Events Include:

1). Semi-truck pull w/ harness - one member of each team will be chosen
2). Obstacle Course - 5 men from each team will be competing for each team
3). Tire Flip - 4 men from each team will relay - flipping the tire 20 yds each
4). Prowler Sled Relay - 4 men from each team will compete in this relay race
5). Farmer’s Walk Relay - 4 men from each team will relay - carrying the implements 30 yds each
6). NFL Agility Course - 5 men from each team will compete in this event
7). Bench Press - 4 men from each team will bench press a 200 lbs, adding up the total reps for each team
8). 5 Man Sled Push - 5 men from each team will push a 5 men sled
9). Super Yoke Walk - 4 men from each team will relay - carrying the yoke 30 yds each
10). 1/2 Mile Relay - 4 men from each team will relay (110 yds each)
11). Tug of War Finale - all team members will compete in this event

Awards:

• T-Shirts and trophies for the 1st through 5th place teams
• Individual Awards for Individual Best Marks in each event
• Each team will select their own MVP and an award will be given to each recipient
